A Mission Driven, Diverse Team
As the economy has tightened and the sophistication of fraudsters has increased, many of the world’s financial institutions have found they need Memento’s solutions in place to fight both external and internal fraud. We are proud to count six of the world’s 15 largest banks as our customers, along with numerous other mid-size and small institutions. We're making a difference, and we're proud of the success our customers are having fighting fraud with our help.
Since our founding in 2003, Memento has grown quickly and steadily. In 2009 we moved our corporate headquarters to Burlington, MA to accommodate our rapidly expanding team.
Memento’s management team includes seasoned software industry executives, entrepreneurs and experienced financial services professionals. Our unparalleled team of engineers, client services experts, marketing and sales gurus and fantastic support staff work closely together every day to help our customers catch the bad guys. We’re a well-educated and well-rounded bunch from multiple backgrounds, cultures and countries. We are seasoned professionals and we are just out of college. We are geeks and we are cool. We are artists and mountain climbers, moms, dads, hockey players and musicians. And we are valued every day for all that we bring to Memento.
The Memento Culture
Memento has created an environment where smart and ambitious people have tremendous opportunity for professional development and advancement. We work in small teams alongside our customers who want rapid, effective solutions to complex problems, and we offer staff members the chance to contribute immediately, upon hire to the firm. Our culture allows for a meritocratic approach to professional advancement – upward progress is defined entirely by an individual’s abilities, ambitions and performance.
Memento offers our employees the opportunity to take on significant responsibilities. We reward outstanding performance with greater opportunity, recognition and compensation. Some of Memento’s biggest successes were created by entrepreneurial employees who took initiative and produced outstanding results.
But we’re not all about work. We value all our team members’ personal lives, families and outside interests. Memento employees pursue many challenging and rewarding hobbies and talents outside of work, including competitive running, dancing, biking, community theater, wine collecting, international travel, and many other interests.
Memento has a significant interest in providing community service and employees are encouraged to participate in a number of volunteer projects organized by employees.

Fraud Fighters Speak Out
“Memento is the best place that I’ve ever worked. Not only is everyone so brilliant and accomplished (career-wise as well as in noteworthy personal endeavors), they also happen to be the nicest, kindest, most team-oriented group with which I’ve ever had the pleasure to work.”
“From Day One, I felt accepted and valued for my skills and my intellect. Being part of an entrepreneurial culture is fantastic because everyone’s opinion counts and is counted on. Plus having the founder on site and involved makes Memento feel really grounded.”
“Although I joined Memento as a Development Intern, I learned a lot about other divisions like Marketing and Sales. I enjoy working with the latest cutting edge technology that Memento implements for fraud detection in banks. The work atmosphere is simply great where everybody respects and helps out one another.”
