Letter from Client Services

It’s now been three months since I joined Memento, and I want to take the opportunity to say hello, communicate some of the exciting changes which are taking place, and offer my perspective on what you can expect to see from us going forward.

Perhaps I should start with what hasn’t changed. What hasn’t changed is Memento’s commitment to, and passion for, helping its customers detect, prevent and manage fraud. This dedication spans the products we build, the consulting services we deliver, and the ongoing relationships we develop. Our goal is to help you successfully deal with your ever-changing fraud-related challenges, and ultimately enable you to reduce losses and exposure to risk.

What has changed is how we accomplish this. For starters, we recently established a Fraud Center of Excellence (FCE) to formally focus our resources in this area. The FCE will consolidate and expand our best practices and industry expertise, helping us to better channel that experience toward building and supporting our next generation of products and services.

In addition, we are improving our infrastructure and processes so that we can better serve customers around the globe. Memento now has several large, multi-national customers as well as many mid-size and smaller institutions throughout the US. We are investing in both our product and consulting capabilities to ensure that we provide the best solution in the marketplace for institutions of any size.

We also have expanded our partnerships with firms like Fair Isaac Corporation (FICO), a leading provider of analytics and decision management technology, and Nova Systems Roma (NSR), a leading fraud and security system integrator and reseller in Europe. Together, Memento and partners like these are working to help financial services organizations combat fraud worldwide.

Finally, we are expanding the Memento team to meet the evolving needs of our customers. Recent new hires include industry veterans (our latest team member joined Memento after 10 years in fraud detection at the Bank of Montreal) and software implementation experts (from Oracle, IBM and beyond).

These changes are just the tip of the iceberg! To all of our Memento customers, I look forward to meeting you in person and hearing more about how Memento can better support your business priorities.
