Ex-bank examiner faces 15 years in forgery

A former U.S. bank examiner who bought a house with fake papers saying he had won $805,000 in a lawsuit pleaded guilty to fraud and forgery, authorities said. Vincent Arena, 52, of Naperville, Ill., near Chicago, also wrote a $260,000 check to help a Naperville Catholic school renovate a campus building, but the check bounced, county authorities said.
