Jacksonville Man Sentenced For Bank Fraud

Jacksonville resident Timothy Hiram Chatman was sentenced Monday to 70 months in federal prison for two counts of bank fraud. The 37-year-old pleaded guilty to bank fraud on December 16, 2008.
Chatman according to court documents created a company by the name of Major League Records. He established himself as the sole record producer. Chatman opened an account in the business name at Compass Bank in Jacksonville. He persuaded an employee of U.S. Trust in Jacksonville to wire $2.5 million to the Compass Bank accounts.
