Family Charged in Check Fraud Scheme

Authorities said a Lake Worth, FL family was arrested in connection with a check fraud scam. According to the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office, John Black, Tonya Black and their two daughters, Tekeashia and Turonda, intentionally opened checking accounts at financial institutions throughout Palm Beach County and issued worthless checks from those banks to corporate retailers for cars, food, furniture and merchandise.
