A Holland couple was ordered jailed by a federal judge Friday after a jury convicted the pair of mail and wire fraud related to a mortgage scam. Patricia VanderZwaag, 37, and Daniel VanderZwaag, 36, provided fake documentation and information to a mortgage company to obtain a loan, federal prosecutors said. Patricia VanderZwaag also was convicted of bank fraud and money laundering for another transaction.
