Man Faces List of Charges in Alleged Check Scheme

Police reports claim that Adam Crane of Berkley, MA had stolen an acquaintance's driver's license and used the information on counterfeit checks, which he made with a high-end computer printer and specialized Web sites. Crane, police say, would then write checks to himself and cash them.
