Woman Charged with Bank Embezzlement

A former employee of Wachovia was charged with bank embezzlement, according to United State Attorney Walt Wilkins. In a prepared release, Wilkins announced that 36-year old Chasity Ann Howell, of Spartanburg, was charged with one count of bank embezzlement. The indictment alleges that Howell embezzled more than $1,000 between August 2008 and October 2008.
