2nd businessman faces 30-year term for bank fraud

A federal jury returned guilty verdicts Friday against Marvin Peugh, 56, of Milledgeville on bank fraud — one count of filing a false loan application and four counts of check kiting. The verdict was reached after a 13-day trial. Also charged in the indictment was Steven Hollewell, 63, of Lanark, who pleaded guilty March 30 to one count of bank fraud.
