Police in Abbotsford, B.C., have released security camera images showing how three thieves managed to steal a debit card machine from one store, insert a parasite computer device in it and then install it in a second store. Police say the thieves stole the original machine on Nov. 26, 2009, at a furniture store in Coquitlam, about 60 kilometres northwest of Abbotsford and 30 kilometres east of Vancouver. Later that same evening, the two men and one woman were captured by a security camera in a second store swapping the modified debit and credit card machine while store staff members were distracted.
