Delaware State Police have arrested a suspect accused of passing thousands of dollars worth of bad checks throughout the state. Back on Nov. 11, police asked for the public's help in identifying a man who dresses like a woman accused of cashing fraudulent checks between April and August at various TD banks in Delaware. According to police, the suspect deposited money into different accounts at these banks from which the money was later withdrawn. Investigators say it was not until after the money was withdrawn, that the bank would learn the checks deposited were no good. TD Bank suffered a loss of over $22,000 because of this scheme, according to police.
