Financial card fraud causes problems for Richmond County

Financial transaction card fraud is a big problem according to Richmond County investigators. An Augusta man realized $1,000 was stolen out of his Wachovia Bank account a week before Christmas. Two people got a hold of his debit card and pin number because the bank sent them to his old address. "I get my statements at this address, but for some reason, they sent my card to the old one,†the man said wishing to remain anonymous. "I feel like I've been violated, as if someone would come and take stuff from the house."
