Former Alva Bank Officer Sentenced to 33 Months in Prison and Ordered to Pay Back More Than $261,000

Today, Mark A. Nickelson, 53, of Waynoka, Oklahoma, was sentenced by Chief United States District Judge Vicki Miles-LaGrange to 33 months in federal prison for defrauding his former employer, Alva State Bank and Trust Company, announced Robert J. Troester, Acting United States Attorney for the Western District of Oklahoma. In addition, Nickelson was ordered to serve three years supervised release upon his release from prison, to perform 100 hours of community service, and to pay restitution in the amount of $261,661.72.
