Former Homewood bank teller pleads guilty to fraud, identity theft

A former Regions Bank teller pleaded guilty today to bank fraud and aggravated identity theft for stealing $15,000 from the Wildwood branch in Homewood. Lashonda McIntyre, 27, of Homewood will be sentenced on April 16. U.S. District Judge Virginia Emerson Hopkins told McIntyre that she is not eligible for probation and will have to serve her two-year sentence on the identity theft conviction after she has served her bank fraud sentence.
