Former Ionia bank officer accused of embezzlement, fraud

A former officer of First Bank of West Michigan in Ionia is accused of using customers' personal information to obtain loans and advances against lines of credit totaling $336,000, court records show. Michael Joseph Willett was indicted on 16 charges, including embezzlement, fraud and identity theft, according to federal documents filed this week.
