A New Orleans woman has been sentenced to five years of probation for her role in a bank fraud conspiracy. U.S. District Judge Helen Berrigan also on Wednesday ordered 26-year-old Arielle Anderson to pay nearly $8,000 in restitution to the banks she defrauded. Anderson pleaded guilty to a conspiracy charge in September. Prosecutors said she was recruited by co-defendant, Eddie Matthews III, to cash checks stolen from residential mail boxes.
