Band of alleged counterfeiters caught in Brooksville

A traveling band of counterfeiters that operated over a 400-mile stretch of Florida's west coast was finally caught in Brooksville, police say.During a traffic stop, one of the suspects pulled a manila envelope from under a floor mat and handed it to the officer. Inside were 19 counterfeit driver's licenses and ID cards — apparently created by the suspects, Police Chief George Turner said.
