A career criminal with a history of running casino scams throughout the United States ripped off at least three people at the Sands Casino Resort Bethlehem, officials said. Caprari said Chai would intervene in other people's ATM transactions under the guise of offering assistance. She would grab the card and reinsert it into the machine, Caprari said. The action created a "double recognition" of an access attempt, Caprari said. Once the victim completed the initial transaction, Chai would quickly complete the second transaction by entering the victims' PIN to withdraw money, Caprari said.
