Dixon man faces 13-count federal court indictment

A Dixon man has been arraigned on a 13-count indictment in federal court in connection with identity theft. Jonah Hanneke Nelson, 30, was charged with bank fraud, aggravated identity theft, access-device fraud, counterfeiting securities, and possession of more than 15 stolen account numbers and other paperwork, according to court reports.He used fraudulently opened credit accounts at Sears and Kay Jewelers to obtain goods and services. At the time of his arrest, he possessed more than 15 access devices and the names and account information of more than 500 Wells Fargo Bank customers, officials said.
