Md. Man Gets Four Years in Identity Theft, Fraud Scam

Federal prosecutors say a District Heights man has been sentenced in an identity theft and bank fraud scheme. Thirty-year-old Alvin Spencer was sentenced Wednesday to four years in prison. He was also ordered to pay more than $165,000 in restitution and to forfeit jewelry.
