Man admits check fraud at Commerce Banks in two states

A Philadelphia man who pleaded guilty to identity theft was sentenced to nine to 23 months in prison Wednesday for forging checks at a Commerce Bank in Plymouth Meeting and elsewhere. Andrew R. Tinsley, who is 37, admitted going to bank branches in Pennsylvania and New Jersey where he cashed fraudulent checks totaling $4,200, according to court papers.
