Manalapan woman, 27, admits to $117K bank fraud

A bank teller accused of fraud admitted in Superior Court last week that she stole more than $100,000 from customer accounts over a year and half while working at a Freehold Township branch of Sun National Bank. Authorities said Carmela DiBenedetto, 27, of Manalapan, made cash withdrawals on customer accounts and used the money to make her own credit card and loan payments, go tanning and travel.
