Police here have arrested four men and one woman suspected of bilking banks and financial institutions to the tune of ``tens of millions of dollars'' through credit and debit card fraud, investigators said Wednesday.
``The investigation revealed that a residence in Richmond Hill, (near Toronto) was being used for manufacturing counterfeit documents which would enable persons with poor credit to obtain loans and credit from financial institutions,'' a police news release said. ``Police have seized four motor vehicles, approximately $50,000 in Canadian and American currency, point-of- sale terminals, credit and debit cards and numerous computers,'' in their investigation.
