Bank customer charged in fraud

Myron Waschitz deposited almost $30,000 of bad checks into TD Bank branches in Valley Stream, police said.
Waschitz deposited bank checks from Chase and Washington Mutual into TD Bank, knowing the accounts did not have sufficient funds to cover them, police said. As a result, police said, TD Bank lost about $29,000.â€
