Fraud Detectives Seek Bank Fraud Suspect

Over the past several weeks Leon County Sheriff's Fraud Detective Chris Coxwell has been investigating counterfeit checks that were passed at several SunTrust Bank locations in Tallahassee. The checks passed were business checks belonging to K and L Properties out of Longwood, Florida.
Two of the counterfeit checks where passed by, and made payable to, Marlon D. Williams in the amount of $1,463.68 for each check. It was also discovered that another counterfeit check was passed by Deandre Juan Morris. The Decatur County Sheriff's Office in Georgia also has active warrants for Williams and Morris for passing counterfeit checks in their jurisdiction. This investigation revealed that Williams and Morris were conducting these crimes together.
