Police ask help in finding check scammer

Police are asking the public's help to track down a man who used fake cashier's checks and identification to withdraw $18,000 from another person's Chase Bank accounts. He apparently used false identification indicating that he was the Florida man in making each of the transactions, police said. The suspect presented authentic-looking cashier checks to the tellers, according to police Sgt. James Perez.
