Romanian man jailed for six months over ATM skim scam

A Cash-strapped Loan Selesi, who was in Australia on a tourist visa and did not have the right to work, ordered a skimming device on the internet and attached it to the security door of a bank in George St, Sydney, in April.
As customers inserted their cards to enter the ATM area of the bank, the skimmer collected data, which Selesi stored on blank gift cards, the Melbourne Magistrates' Court was told.
