Charlottesville Police are searching for a woman they say got away with $8,000 from area banks while pretending to be someone else. Police say the woman in the picture above used three cash advance slips to get thousands of dollars from two different Wachovia banks on Emmett Street. She allegedly used the ID of someone in South Carolina to complete the check fraud. Charlottesville Police ask anyone with information regarding this case to call Crime Stoppers at 434-977-4000.
