Pair arrested in check fraud case at Wal-Mart

Two people have been arrested in connection with a forgery incident at Wal-Mart in Gonzales. Both are from out of state. Christopher Allen, 31, Kansas City, Mo., has been charged with tampering with evidence, forgery and evading arrest. Mercutio Jouane Johns, 26, Marrero, La., was arrested and charged with fraudulent use or possession of identifying information, resisting arrest and forgery.
