Police are asking for public assistance in locating a suspect wanted in a fraud investigation. On July 3, police say a woman visited the Royal Bank on Jane Street, north of Lawrence Avenue, and fraudulently used identification of a legitimate bank client to obtain a $162,000 bank draft. Later that day, police say the suspect attended another Royal Bank location and bought two gold bars using the bank draft, requesting the remainder of the difference as cash and a second bank draft.
