Another former top executive at the north suburban bank that financed the failed Ramsey Town Center project is scheduled to plead guilty Friday to conspiracy to commit bank fraud. Curtis Martinson, the former senior lending officer at Community National Bank in North Branch, worked with William Sandison, former president of Community National, and others to send a "misleading" letter to other banks participating in the financing of the $1.3 billion project in Anoka County, according to a charging document filed Wednesday in U.S. District Court in St. Paul.
