Couple Sentenced for ID Theft and Bank Fraud

A couple from Schuylkill County was sentenced Tuesday afternoon for scamming banks and credit card companies out of more than half a million dollars. Investigators said the husband and wife stole Social Security numbers to create fake identities. With those IDs they opened up lines of credit. Investigators said some of those stolen Social Security numbers belonged to children.
