DeSoto man convicted in bank fraud conspiracy

The last of eight defendants convicted in a bank fraud conspiracy was sentenced Tuesday to more than four years in federal prison. Darrell Devinski Jones, 41, of DeSoto, pleaded guilty in June to his role in stealing corporate checks from bank lock boxes and then opening small business bank accounts at four banks across the Metroplex with fraudulent information, according to a news release from the U.S. Department of Justice.
