Five Myrtle Beach residents sentenced for bank fraud

Five Myrtle Beach residents were sentenced on bank fraud charges this week in federal court, according the United States Attorney. Derrick Jamine Moore, 38, Edward Alcazar, 22, Leroy Mondello Anderson, 39, Contina Michelle Washington, 38, and Dean Lamont Franklin,22, were sentenced for conspiracy to commit bank fraud. U.S. District Judge R. Bryan Harwell of Florence sentenced Moore to 46 months in prison, five years of supervised release and ordered him to pay nearly $200,000 in restitution. Alcazar was sentenced to 100 days in prison, five years of supervised release and was ordered to pay $33,000 in restitution. Anderson was sentenced to five months in prison, five years of supervised release and ordered to pay $42,250 in restitution.
