Men arrested for check fraud

Two men were arrested after they tried to open a bank account with a stolen check, using fake names. Noah Mugwachu, 37, of Las Vegas, and Samuel Njemo, 37, of Dunwoody, were both apprehended as they left the Bank of America on Windward Parkway Dec. 11. They had tried to open a bank account using a stolen check worth $16,000. Bank officials became suspicious when the pair declined to sign documents and could not answer basic questions about the check.
