Stow residents affected by case involving alleged ATM bank fraud in Cuyahoga Falls

After a news report that the U.S. Secret Service was investigating ATM fraud at a Cuyahoga Falls FirstMerit Bank, the bank reported that customers can use the machine as normal. The ATM at the FirstMerit on State Road in Cuyahoga Falls "is safe for use," said Rob Townsend, FirstMerit media relations officer. Stow Police Chief Louis Dirker said four reports from people in Stow had been filed as of Dec. 20 related to the ATM fraud at the Cuyahoga Falls bank.
