A federal grand jury has indicted four people accused of paying insiders at a courthouse and a local fast-food joint to steal dozens of victims' debit or credit card numbers, then fraudulently using the information to purchase hundreds of thousand dollars' worth of gift cards. Diamond Alexander, Jr., Crystal Lee, Cassie St. Cyr and Timur Harris all pleaded not guilty to six counts of bank fraud. Federal prosecutors believe Alexander and his wife, Lee, were the ring leaders who recruited others to steal card numbers, and to make gift card purchases on their behalf.
