Brunswick woman pleads guilty in fraud scheme

A Brunswick woman faces as much as 20 years in federal prison for an embezzlement scheme that cost her employer more than $660,000, U.S. Attorney Rod J. Rosenstein has announced.
Kymberli Michelle Rand, 41, pleaded guilty to wire fraud that occurred from at least 2003 through February 2010 while she was employed as the administrative assistant for the Council of State Administrators of Vocational Rehabilitation in Bethesda, according to U.S. District Court documents.
