Man Pleads Guilty to Role in Nevada Mortgage Fraud Scheme

A former Las Vegas resident, Brian K. Jackson, has pleaded guilty to conspiracy for his involvement in a Nevada mortgage fraud scheme involving straw buyers and falsified mortgage loan documents, announced the US District Attorney for Nevada. Jackson, pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit mail fraud, wire fraud, and bank fraud. As a result of the fraud, the financial institutions suffered a loss of approximately $111,103. He faces up to 30 years in prison and a $1,000,000 fine.
