A 54-year-old Reno man has been indicted on federal charges of using bogus checks to pay for more than $1 million worth of Costco gift cards ordered online, pretending he was part of a children's charity. Devon Renard Stokes was booked into the Washoe County Jail last week on two counts of mail fraud after the indictment was returned this month by a Reno grand jury.
