Bill Nelson, CCM, is not an alarmist, but when it comes to Web security and corporate payments, he wants you to know a few things: First, recent discussions with the FBI, U.S. Secret Service and high-end incident response vendors indicate anti-virus software effectiveness is less than 60 percent. He also wants you to know that fraudsters have a complete service-based economy supporting their activities, including technical specialists who focus on: ATMs, Payment systems, Check processing, Credit card processing.
