A former bank call center operator was sentenced today to two years in federal prison for stealing customer information and trying to sell it. Brian Matty Hagen, 28, of Riverview, pleaded guilty in June to bank fraud, a charge which carries up to 30 years behind bars. The prosecution asked U.S. District Judge James D. Whittemore to impose a sentence of 33 to 41 months, as recommended under federal sentencing guidelines. The defense asked for a term of probation.
