Police bust debit card cloning operation

Three men have been arrested in connection with a debit card cloning scheme. Iurie Nepotu, 40, Marin Varga, 43 years and Cristian Roman, 34, are facing charges of possession of a cloning device, fraud over $5,000, possession of the tools for forging credit cards, wearing a disguise for criminal intent, conspiracy and breach of condition. The three men were arrested as part of the Projet Facette investigation, when police dismantled a debit card cloning lab in October.
