Indian Hills Man Jailed in 50K Check Fraud Case

A man jailed last week for allegedly attempting to cash a phony check at a local casino is suspected of passing dozens of forged checks totaling $50,000.
According to Carson City Sheriff's Detective Bob Motamenpour, with the arrest of Donald Jackson Sr., 27, of Indian Hills, police may have nabbed the person suspected of writing and cashing checks on a bank account belonging to the Washoe Tribe of California and Nevada.
