A Brooklyn resident pleaded guilty to federal charges that he installed "skimmers" and cameras on Valley National Bank ATMs in Belleville and Nutley, the U.S. Attorney's Office announced.
In skimming, a hidden device in the ATM records the magnetic strip of an ATM card. Meanwhile, a small camera films the ATM keypad while users type their personal identification number.
