$2 Million
A former Touro College construction manager from Bellmore has been sentenced to three years in prison for his role in a $2 million kickback scheme.
Lawrence Pesce pleaded guilty in October to wire fraud at Manhattan federal court.
The 45-year-old was arrested last June on charges that he told a developer in May 2008 he could ensure that the company would win a bid on a construction project if the contractor agreed to pay him kickbacks.
