Lowell admits guilt in Ponzi scheme

A former Bonner County man implicated in a $2.2 million Ponzi scheme has pleaded guilty to wire fraud on Tuesday.
Dale Edward Lowell, 59, faces up to 20 years in prison, although the U.S. Department of Justice is recommending he receive the low end of the applicable guideline sentence, according to a plea agreement.
The length of the sentence the government will seek is not expressly stated in the plea agreement.
