Five men face 158 charges in what a fraud squad detective called a “very smooth” bank card operation which cost dozens of GTA victims $280,000. Det. Phil Hibbeln said they’ve known about the group since June 2009, but a “big tip” on Jan. 7 sparked an intense two-week investigation which culminated in Thursday's charges.
