89 charged in check scheme

Warrants have been issued against 89 people in a massive check fraud scheme. According to the Red Bank Police Department, a total of 178 warrants were issued against the group for defrauding a check cashing business. Each of the suspects has been charged with forgery and theft. RBPD estimates $17,000 was stolen as a result of the check cashing scheme.
