Attorney Sentenced to Two Years in Federal Prison for Role in Fraud Schemes

David B. Fein, United States Attorney for the District of Connecticut, announced that PAUL J. APARO, 61, of Goodwin Circle, Hartford, was sentenced today by Chief United States District Judge Alvin W. Thompson in Hartford to 24 months of imprisonment, followed by five years of supervised release, for his role in two fraud schemes. APARO also was ordered to pay a fine in the amount of $20,000.
